The Favela com Dignidade program was present in the Paciência neighborhood, in the West Zone of Rio, this Saturday (07/12), with a large mobilization promoted by the City of Rio. Carried out by the Secretariat of Community Action, the initiative brought together several departments and public agencies and registered 1.592 services to residents of the region.
The event was held at Praça Padre de Azevedo, on Rua Paçuaré, and had great participation from the community, who received free services and important guidance.
Favela com Dignidade makes a difference in the lives of people who need it most. It is the City Hall, with its agencies and departments, bringing public policies to more vulnerable areas to facilitate access to services and offer equal opportunities, highlighted the Secretary of Community Action, Marlí Peçanha.
Over the last four years, Favela com Dignidade has carried out 32 community actions in different regions of the city, positively impacting the lives of thousands of Rio residents.
