CadMóvel Carioca arrives in Acari and surpasses 5,4 services provided.

In the final stretch of the month in which it celebrates its first year of operation, the “CadMóvel Carioca – Connecting to Rights” arrived in another neighborhood in Rio to expand access to social benefits. This Tuesday (16), the itinerant service of the Municipal Secretariat of Social Assistance (SMAS) served the population of Acari, in the North Zone.
129 services were provided: 18 for registration and 111 for updating data in the Single Registry (CadÚnico), without the need for prior scheduling. Since April of last year, 5.463 people have already benefited.

The CadMóvel Carioca aims to decentralize the services of the Unified Registry for Social Programs (CadÚnico), bring social assistance policies closer to communities, and facilitate access to federal government benefits such as Bolsa Família, ID Jovem, and the Social Electricity Tariff, among others. The service is offered in areas of greater social vulnerability.

The 38th edition took place at the União do Parque Acari Samba School, located on Avenida Brasil, behind the Edma Valadão Family Clinic. Tickets were distributed starting at 9 am.
The CadMóvel Carioca visits a different neighborhood weekly. In addition to registering and updating information in the CadÚnico (Single Registry for Social Programs), the service offers guidance on accessing social benefits. To register or update data, the head of the family must present the CPF (Brazilian taxpayer ID) of all family members, as well as an official photo ID, CPF, voter registration card, work permit, and proof of residence.

With Tuesday's action in Acari, the program has now been implemented in 35 neighborhoods across all regions of the city. In these locations, thousands of people accessed the Unified Registry (CadÚnico) without needing to schedule an appointment through the 1746 hotline or the website. cadunico.rionor do you have to travel to a CadRio unit.
