After 18 thousand assistances in four months, Assistência Volante reinforces work in Bangu

The Social Welfare Department assisted 251 families this Monday, in Bangu - Hermann Zimmerle

The Municipal Department of Social Welfare served 11 families at Arena Carioquinha, in Bangu, on Monday (4/251) to register and update their Cadastro Único (federal income transfer program). The Assistência Volante, which goes to a region with high vulnerability in the city every day, also covered the public in neighborhoods such as Realengo, Deodoro and Senador Camará on Monday.

From November 2021 to February this year, this region ranked fourth in the demand ranking for CadÚnico, with a total of 17.698 services including updates and new registrations.

The two previous Volante Assistance actions were on the 4a   CAS (Social Assistance Coordination), in Maré, the region with the highest demand in Rio, where 25.258 services were provided from November to February; and in the region of 10a    CAS, in Santa Cruz, where 23.094 services had been carried out in the same period.

This Tuesday (12/4), the Mobile Assistance will arrive in the region of the 6th CAS, which covers Pavuna, Costa Barros, Anchieta, Irajá, College, Vista Alegre, Vila da Penha, Vila Kosmos, Vicente de Carvalho, Cavalcanti, Vaz Lobo, Parque Columbia, Acari and Barros Filho. Starting at 9 am, the service will be provided at the Max Fleiuss Municipal School (Our Lady of Sorrows Square, s/n, Pavuna).
