Rio City Hall takes CadMóvel Carioca to Cosmos, in the West Zone, and provides 180 services

Wanderson Cruz / SMAS The Rio Municipal Department of Social Welfare (SMAS) held the second edition of “CadMóvel Carioca – Connecting to rights” this Thursday (10/04). The event was held at the Santa Sofia Parish in Cosmos, in the city’s West Zone, with 180 people being seen on a first-come, first-served basis, after the distribution of passwords.
The itinerant service – held every Thursday in different neighborhoods – offers the population the opportunity to register or update their data in the Single Registry (Cadúnico). The goal is to facilitate the obtaining of social benefits, since CadÚnico is the gateway to programs such as Bolsa Família, Carteira do Idoso and Minha Casa Minha Vida, among others.
– Bringing the population closer to such an important service is what drives us and motivates us to promote actions like this every week. CadMóvel makes people’s lives easier and speeds up the provision of services to those who need them most. We are very proud of this initiative – highlights the municipal secretary of Social Welfare, Martha Rocha.
The Ministry of Social Security, a partner of SMAS in the action, participated again, with technicians answering questions about the Meu INSS website and app and providing guidance on the types of benefits and their rules for granting them. The population was also able to consult their INSS registration, simulate retirement and issue Social Security documents.
– This action is very important for us, because it happens close to home. Thanks to this facility, I was able to update my registration and apply for a social benefit for my son – praises food handler Marcielen da Silva, 33, resident of Cosmos.
After the Faz Quem Quer community in Rocha Miranda, in the North Zone – where the program was launched on the 3rd, with 134 people being served – and Cosmos, the CadMóvel will arrive at Penha Circular next week. However, exceptionally, due to the celebration of Holy Week, it will not be on a Thursday, but on Tuesday, April 15th. The event will take place from 04 am to 9 pm at the Marca de Cristo Church, on Avenida Brás de Pina, 13. On that occasion, 250 tickets will be distributed, and service will be on a first-come, first-served basis, as usual.
