The Rio Municipal Department of Social Welfare (SMAS) launched the project “CadMóvel Carioca – Connecting to rights” on Thursday (03/04), a mobile service for registering and updating the Single Registry and providing guidance on social benefits. The first location to receive “CadMóvel Carioca” was the Faz Quem Quer community in Rocha Miranda, in the North Zone of Rio, where 134 services were provided. The initiative will take place weekly, every Thursday, in different parts of the city. The calendar and locations of the action will be announced on SMAS’ social media.

– The goal is to increase the number of services provided, in addition to providing convenience to CadÚnico users. Starting today, every Thursday, Social Welfare will have CadMóvel at some point in the city of Rio de Janeiro –, informed the municipal secretary of Social Welfare, Martha Rocha.

Simultaneously with the launch of CadMóvel Carioca, services were offered by the Ministry of Social Security, a partner of SMAS in the action. At PrevMóvel, the INSS mobile unit that was on site, citizens were able to ask questions about the Meu INSS website and app; learn about the types of benefits and their rules for granting them; check their registration with the INSS and simulate retirement. It was also possible to issue documents, such as credit and consignment statements and the National Social Information Registry (CNIS), among other procedures.

– It’s an important action for the community, and it will help me with my benefit. I hope it happens more often –, says Thamires Santos, a resident of the neighborhood, who was there to update the information for Bolsa Família.

CadÚnico allows access to various social programs, such as Bolsa Família, the Senior Citizen Card, the Minha Casa Minha Vida Program, among others.
