Here comes Pop Folia

The First Coordination of Social Assistance and Human Rights (CASDH) and the Bárbara Calazans Pop Center will hold their second carnival block parade this Thursday (28) – Pop Folia.
The event will take place at Centro Pop, in Central do Brasil, starting at 14 pm, and at 15 pm it will continue in a block to gather at Praça Procópio Ferreira.
Representatives from the units of the Municipal Secretariat for Social Assistance and Human Rights (SMASDH), the Rio de Janeiro Public Defender's Office, the Brazilian Bible Society (SBB), the Escola de Samba Mirim, Nova Geração da Estácio de Sá, the Brazilian Association of Women Entrepreneurs (Amebras), the Rio Municipal Council for Social Assistance (CMAS), the National Movement for the Homeless Population (MNPR), and other partners who are essential for serving the vulnerable population will take part in the festivities.
It will be a moment of fellowship and joy for homeless people who frequent the Pop Center.
