CET-Rio and the Municipal Conservation Department inform that, as of this Friday (31/3), it will be necessary to partially close Avenida Francisco Bicalho, towards Rodoviária, in half a lane, in the side and central lanes, next to the lane divider flowerbeds, for works to readjust the existing junctions (pointers).
In this first stage, the switch from the side lane to the central lane will be closed, located just after the access from Avenida Presidente Vargas to Avenida Francisco Bicalho. Drivers will have the option of using the second switch, located 400m ahead. After the first stage of the work, this junction will have its traffic direction reversed, and will now operate from the central lane to the side lane.
The closures are scheduled to occur daily, for 30 days, from 7am to 15pm on weekdays and from 7am to 19pm on weekends and holidays.
During the construction period, it is recommended that drivers respect the speed limits established for the road and follow the instructions of the traffic agents who will be working on site.
