CET-Rio will implement a traffic operation this Sunday (02/08) in Bangu, in the West Zone of the city, for the Corrida das Preciosas race. The main road closures will occur on Avenida Cônego de Vasconcelos, Rua Padre Josino Tavares, the ramps of Praça da Fé and a section of Rua Santa Cecília, from 7 am to 12 pm.
The operation will involve CET-Rio agents, traffic support personnel, and technicians from the Center for Operations and Resilience (COR-Rio), who will monitor the area and, if necessary, make traffic light adjustments to ensure smooth traffic flow. Drivers should pay attention to signage and instructions from traffic agents and, whenever possible, use alternative routes. Pedestrian crossings should be made in safe and marked locations.

• Padre Josino Tavares Street, in the section between Alceri Maria da Silva Street and Cônego de Vasconcelos Avenue.
• Avenida Cônego de Vasconcelos, on both lanes, in the section between Rua Padre Josino Tavares and Praça da Fé.
• Access ramps along the side of Praça da Fé, in both directions.
• Rua Santa Cecília, with one lane closed along the edge of Praça da Fé, in the section between Rua Fonseca and Rua Silva Cardoso.
