CET-Rio will implement changes to roads in Benfica, in the North Zone, to allow for works by the concessionaire Águas do Rio. Road closures and parking restrictions will begin this Monday (January 12th). The roads are expected to reopen on February 28th, after the completion of the works.
Road closures and parking bans on both sides of the roads:
– Rua Francisco Manuel, between Rua General Gustavo Cordeiro de Farias and Rua Costa Lobo
– Costa Lobo Street, between Francisco Manuel Street and Tomás J. Watson Street
Recommendations
– Pay attention to the instructions of traffic officers and the signage installed in the area.
– Cross the road only at marked locations, such as pedestrian crossings.
Avoid driving in the area and prioritize the use of public transportation.
