CET-Rio alters traffic in Campo Grande to continue works on the Mobility Plan.

The Rio de Janeiro Traffic Engineering Company (CET-Rio) will implement a special traffic scheme, starting Monday (06/07), to continue the drainage and urbanization works of the Campo Grande Mobility Plan, in the West Zone of the city.

The lane on Estrada do Monteiro, in the direction of Avenida Brasil, will be closed to vehicle traffic in the section between Rua Augusto Vasconcelos and Rua Ibrahim Hannas. During the execution of the works, traffic will be diverted to Rua Augusto Vasconcelos, with access in the direction of Avenida Brasil via Rua Ibrahim Hannas.

Specific signage will be installed to guide drivers. In addition, CET-Rio agents and traffic operators will be present in the area to monitor road conditions and maintain traffic flow.

Technicians from CET-Rio, at the Operations and Resilience Center (COR-Rio), will monitor all traffic movement through cameras so that, if necessary, adjustments can be made to the traffic light programming, with the aim of ensuring good traffic conditions.

CET-Rio recommends that drivers use alternative routes during the construction period and emphasizes the importance of paying attention to the installed signage and the instructions of traffic officers.

Prohibition:

– Estrada do Monteiro, lane heading towards Avenida Brasil, between Rua Augusto Vasconcelos and Rua Ibrahim Hannas.

Detour:

Continue along Augusto Vasconcelos and Ibrahim Hannas streets.
