CET-Rio alters traffic flow in Aterro do Flamengo and Enseada de Botafogo for the race.
Published on 27/02/2026 - 12:53 | UpdatedCET-Rio will partially close traffic on Avenida Infante Dom Henrique (Aterro do Flamengo) and Avenida das Nações Unidas (Enseada de Botafogo) this Sunday (March 1st) for the Fla Run race. To facilitate the sporting event, the closure to vehicle traffic on Aterro do Flamengo will be from 3 am on Sunday until 6 pm, when the leisure area closes. The closure of Avenida das Nações Unidas (Enseada de Botafogo) will be from 4 am to 11 am.
The race will start at 6:30 AM at Aterro, in front of the Monument to the Dead of the Second World War. The route will follow the southbound lane to Botafogo Cove. Drivers are advised to use alternative routes.
