CET-Rio alters traffic patterns to allow for the continuation of works on the Campo Grande Mobility Plan.

CET-Rio has implemented a special traffic scheme to continue the drainage and urbanization works of the Campo Grande Mobility Plan, in the West Zone. Estrada do Monteiro is closed to vehicle traffic in the section between Rua Ibrahim Hannas and Rua Professor Gonçalves. During the works, traffic will be diverted to Rua Professor Castilho, with access towards Avenida Brasil via Rua Professor Gonçalves.

Augusto Vasconcelos Street remains closed to traffic between Estrada do Monteiro and Ibrahim Hannas Street. Specific signage has been installed to guide drivers. In addition, CET-Rio agents and traffic operators are working in the area to monitor road conditions and maintain traffic flow.

CET-Rio technicians at the Operations and Resilience Center (COR-Rio) will monitor all traffic movement via cameras so that, if necessary, adjustments can be made to the traffic light programming to ensure good traffic conditions. CET-Rio recommends that drivers use alternative routes during the construction period and emphasizes the importance of paying attention to the installed signage and the instructions of the agents.
