  • CET-Rio alters traffic patterns for the Fluminense vs. Maricá match on Sunday at Maracanã.

CET-Rio will carry out a traffic operation this Sunday (February 8th) for the game between Fluminense and Maricá, at 8:30 pm, at Maracanã, for the State Championship. From 6 pm onwards, there will be traffic restrictions in the stadium area. And, in addition to the regulated areas with no parking, other roads will have parking restrictions starting at 10 am.

The plan will involve CET-Rio agents and traffic support personnel, operational vehicles, and motorcycles dedicated to traffic guidance. Furthermore, to reinforce traffic information, 13 variable message signs will provide information on closure times and alternative routes. All of this is aimed at road safety, traffic flow, keeping intersections clear, and guiding pedestrians, fans, and drivers.

CET-Rio technicians at the Operations and Resilience Center (COR-Rio) will monitor all traffic movement through cameras so that, if necessary, adjustments can be made to the traffic light schedule to ensure good road conditions.
