  • CET-Rio alters traffic patterns for the match between Nova Iguaçu and Fluminense, on Ilha do Governador.

CET-Rio has set up a traffic operation for the match between Nova Iguaçu and Fluminense, this Thursday (January 22nd), at 9:30 pm, at the Luso-Brasileiro stadium, in Portuguesa, Ilha do Governador, for the State Championship. To facilitate the event, Rua Figueira da Foz will be closed to vehicle traffic from 7 pm to 11:59 pm. Rua Haroldo Lobo will have one-way traffic from Rua Eduardo Nadruz towards Praça Elis Regina.

To minimize any potential impact on traffic in the area, the operation will include traffic officers who will work to maintain traffic flow and manage intersections, as well as guide pedestrians and drivers. Technicians from CET-Rio working at the Operations and Resilience Center (COR-Rio) will monitor the event via cameras and, if necessary, make traffic light adjustments.
