Elevated President Itamar Franco
The Luiz Jacques de Moraes and Engenheiro Paulo César Marcellino Figueiredo tunnels, along with the Presidente Itamar Franco Elevated Highway, will be closed from 11 PM this Friday (June 17th) to 4:30 AM on Saturday (June 18th) for maintenance work. As an alternative, drivers should use the upper deck of the Bandeiras Elevated Highway, which will operate in the direction of Barra da Tijuca.

Elevated Engineer Freyssinet and Rufino Pizarro
The Engenheiro Freyssinet (over Avenida Paulo de Frontin) and Rufino Pizarro elevated roads will be closed in the direction of the South Zone, from 11:50 pm this Friday (July 17th) to 5 am on Saturday (July 18th), for maintenance work. As an alternative route, drivers should follow Avenida Paulo de Frontin.
Guidance for drivers
Drivers should pay attention to the signage installed in the area. CET-Rio operators will monitor traffic conditions and intervene if necessary. In addition, traffic light timings will be adjusted to improve traffic flow on detour routes and main corridors in the affected areas.
