Rebouças Tunnel
The Rebouças Tunnel will be closed in the Lagoa direction from 10 PM this Thursday (July 9th) to 5 AM on Friday (July 10th) for revitalization work. The tunnels in the opposite direction will operate with one reversible lane (to the left) towards the South Zone and two traffic lanes towards the city center.

Vice-President of the Republic José Alencar Tunnel
The Vice-President of the Republic José Alencar Tunnel will be closed in the direction of Barra da Tijuca, from 11 PM this Thursday (July 9th) to 4 AM on Friday (July 10th), for maintenance work. Vehicles heading towards Barra will be diverted via Serra da Grota Funda (Avenida Artur Xexéo). BRT buses heading to Barra should use the opposite tunnel lane. Buses that normally use the lane in the direction of Santa Cruz will continue on the common lane for all vehicles.

Elevation of the Flags
The lower deck of the Elevado das Bandeiras will be closed in the direction of São Conrado, from 09 pm this Thursday (June 11th) to 4:30 am on Friday (June 10th) for revitalization work. The Barra – São Conrado connection will be made via the upper deck of the Elevado das Bandeiras, which will be operating in the direction of São Conrado.
Guidance for drivers
Drivers should pay attention to the signage installed in the area. CET-Rio operators will monitor traffic conditions and intervene if necessary. In addition, traffic light timings will be adjusted to improve traffic flow on detour routes and main corridors in the affected areas.
