Elevation of the Flags
The lower deck of the Elevado das Bandeiras will be closed in the direction of São Conrado, from 11 PM this Thursday (December 4th) to 4:30 AM on Friday (December 5th) for maintenance. The Barra – São Conrado connection will be made via the upper deck of the Elevado das Bandeiras, which will be operating in the direction of São Conrado.

Rebouças Tunnel
The Rebouças Tunnel will be closed from 10 PM this Thursday (March 07th) to 5 AM on Friday (March 08th), in the direction of Lagoa, for maintenance. During the closure, vehicle traffic will follow a reversible lane to the left in the direction of the city center, operating towards the South Zone. The other two lanes will operate in the direction of the city center.

Acoustic Tunnels and Zuzu Angel
The Zuzu Angel and Acústico Rafael Mascarenhas tunnels will be closed, in the direction of São Conrado, from 23 pm this Thursday (07/05) to 5 am on Friday (08/05), for revitalization work. The main detour option is Avenida Niemeyer, which will operate normally in both directions.

Vice-President of the Republic José Alencar Tunnel
The Vice-President of the Republic José Alencar Tunnel will be closed this Thursday (February 07th), in the direction of Barra da Tijuca, from 11 PM to 4 AM on Friday (February 08th), for maintenance. Vehicles heading towards Barra will be diverted via Serra da Grota Funda (Avenida Artur Xexéo).
BRT buses heading towards Barra will use the opposite lane. Buses that normally use the lane heading towards Santa Cruz will continue on the common lane used by all vehicles.
Guidance for drivers
Specific signage will be installed to guide and warn drivers. Traffic light timings will be adjusted to improve traffic flow on the detour route and main thoroughfares in the affected areas.
