CET-Rio announces maintenance closures in the city's tunnels and overpasses

The Santa Bárbara Tunnel will be closed for maintenance work - Disclosure/CET-Rio HIGH ENG. FREYSSINET AND RUFINO PIZARRO
CET-Rio informs that the Engº. Freyssinet Elevated Highways (elevated over Av. Paulo de Frontin) and Rufino Pizarro will be closed on Monday (15/09), from 23:30 pm to 5 am the following day (16/09), in the direction of the North Zone, for maintenance services.
Drivers will be able to use Avenida Paulo de Frontin as an alternative route.

RAFAEL MASCARENHA AND ZUZU ANGEL ACOUSTIC TUNNELS
The Zuzu Angel and Acústico Rafael Mascarenhas tunnels will be closed on Monday (15/09), from 23:30 pm to 5 am the following day (16/09), in the direction of Gávea, for maintenance services in the galleries.
The main alternative route is Avenida Niemeyer, which will operate normally in both directions.

SANTA BARBARA TUNNEL
The Santa Bárbara Tunnel will be closed on Monday (15/09), from 23:30 pm to 4:30 am the following day (16/09), towards LARANJEIRAS, for maintenance and cleaning.
The gallery towards Santo Cristo will operate normally.
For all scheduled closures: Specific signage will be installed to guide and alert drivers, and CET-Rio operators will monitor traffic conditions and intervene if necessary. Additionally, traffic signal timings will be adjusted to ensure smooth traffic flow on detour routes and main corridors in the region.
Programming may be suspended at any time due to weather conditions or city operational issues.*
