CET-Rio announces scheduled road closures for this Wednesday (July 29th).

The lower deck of the Elevado das Bandeiras will be closed in the direction of São Conrado, from 11 pm this Wednesday (June 29th) to 4:30 am on Thursday (June 30th) for revitalization work. The Barra – São Conrado connection will be made via the upper deck of the Elevado das Bandeiras, which will be operating in the direction of São Conrado.

Santa Barbara Tunnel
The Santa Bárbara Tunnel will be closed in the Santo Cristo direction from 11:30 PM this Wednesday (June 29th) to 4:30 AM on Thursday (June 30th) for maintenance work. The tunnel in the Laranjeiras direction will operate normally.

Rebouças Tunnel
The Rebouças Tunnel will be closed in the Lagoa direction from 10 PM this Wednesday (July 29th) to 5 AM on Thursday (July 30th) for revitalization work. The tunnels in the opposite direction will operate with one reversible lane (to the left) in the South Zone direction and two traffic lanes in the Downtown direction.

Acoustic Tunnels and Zuzu Angel
The Zuzu Angel and Acústico Rafael Mascarenhas tunnels will be closed in the direction of São Conrado, from 11:30 pm this Wednesday (July 29th) to 5 am on Thursday (July 30th), for maintenance work. The main alternative route is Avenida Niemeyer, which will operate normally, with two-way traffic.
Guidance for drivers
Drivers should pay attention to the signage installed in the area. CET-Rio operators will monitor traffic conditions and intervene if necessary. In addition, traffic light timings will be adjusted to improve traffic flow on detour routes and main corridors in the affected areas.
