CET-Rio presents the program A Caminho da Escola 2.0 at the Book Biennial
Published on 04/09/2023 - 16:42 | Updated on 04/09/2023 - 12:48CET-Rio will present the program A Caminho da Escola 2.0, this Tuesday (5/9), starting at 9 am, at the Book Biennial, at Riocentro, in Jacarepaguá. There will also be an educational play, at the stand of the Municipal Department of Education (SME), on Rua D, near the entrance to the Orange Pavilion.
The program, the result of a partnership between CET-Rio, the SME and the sub-prefectures, promotes dialogue with the school community, develops traffic education activities and carries out urban interventions in the areas surrounding schools. The initiative contributes to improving the organization and safety of traffic, especially during the home-school-home journey, taken by students, who are active collaborators in the construction of the project to be implemented on the roads.
CET-Rio is working every day with 50 agents near the Bienal, organizing traffic. The company also provides 14 variable message panels to inform about traffic conditions and detour routes.
CET-Rio recommends the use of public transport (BRT); respecting parking restrictions, signage and the instructions of traffic agents.
