The Rio de Janeiro Traffic Engineering Company (CET-Rio) will implement a traffic scheme in Bangu, in the city's West Zone, for drainage work to be carried out by the Municipal Housing Secretariat. The work will take place on Rua da Usina, in the section between Rua Henrique Landi and Avenida Francisco Brício, starting at 7 am this Monday (March 23). During the work, traffic will be diverted via Rua Maravilha, continuing along Rua Oliveira Ribeiro and Rua Murundu.
CET-Rio agents and traffic operators will be positioned in the area to guide drivers and pedestrians, as well as monitor road conditions.
CET-Rio recommends that drivers use alternative routes whenever possible during the period of the works and reinforces the importance of paying attention to the signage and instructions from traffic officers.
