CET-Rio will implement a traffic operation between Tuesday night (July 14th) and Wednesday morning (July 15th) to facilitate the movement of floats from samba schools belonging to the Independent League of Group A – Rio de Janeiro – Liga RJ. The operational plan will be implemented in the Gamboa and Centro neighborhoods. Road closures will occur from 11 PM to 4 AM to allow for the passage of the floats. The route will begin at Cidade do Samba and proceed towards Rua Aldomaro Costa, passing through streets in the area. During the operation, there will be road closures in the region, including Rua Rivadávia Corrêa, Rua Bento Ribeiro, and the João Ricardo Tunnel, where the floats will travel against the flow of traffic. Parking will also be prohibited on some streets in the area, in addition to traffic direction reversals. The operation will include CET-Rio agents to guide drivers and maintain traffic flow. The recommendation is that drivers avoid the area during the period of the traffic jams and use alternative routes. Technicians from CET-Rio, at the Operations and Resilience Center (COR-Rio), will monitor all traffic jams using cameras. If necessary, adjustments will be made to the traffic light programming in order to ensure good road conditions.

• Bento Ribeiro Street, in the section between the exit of the Coronel Américo Fontenelle Bus Terminal and Senador Pompeu Street.
