  • CET-Rio implements traffic operation for Light's construction work on Rua Cachambi.

CET-Rio will implement a traffic scheme to facilitate Light's work on Rua Cachambi, in the Cachambi neighborhood, in the city's North Zone. The intervention will begin at 10 am on Saturday (April 18th) and will continue until 10 pm on Saturday (June 6th), when the service is scheduled to be completed.

During the construction period, there will be a partial road closure on the stretch between Rua Honório and Rua Basílio de Brito, blocking traffic in the direction of Méier. Traffic in the direction of Avenida Dom Helder Câmara will operate normally.

Traffic officers will be on site to guide drivers and ensure smooth traffic flow. Vertical signage will be installed to indicate road changes and necessary detours. In addition, CET-Rio technicians at the Operations and Resilience Center (COR-Rio) will monitor traffic via cameras, with the possibility of making operational adjustments if necessary.

Prohibitions
• Cachambi Street, between Honório and Basílio de Brito streets: partial closure with traffic blocked in the direction of Méier.
