CET-Rio implements traffic operation for PAC Realengo works.

CET-Rio will implement a traffic operation starting this Sunday (June 21st) in Realengo, in the city's West Zone, to continue the PAC Realengo works, carried out by the Rio-Águas Foundation. To carry out the work, Rua Bernardo de Vasconcelos will be closed to vehicle traffic in the section between Estrada General Canrobert Pereira da Costa and Rua da Imperatriz.

With the road closure, traffic will be diverted via Avenida Santa Cruz, where a two-way traffic system will be temporarily implemented, allowing vehicles to return via Rua da Imperatriz. The entire area will have specific signage to guide drivers and pedestrians about the changes. CET-Rio agents and traffic operators will be working in the area to monitor road conditions and maintain traffic flow.

Technicians from CET-Rio, at the Operations and Resilience Center (COR-Rio), will monitor traffic movement via cameras and, if necessary, adjustments will be made to the traffic light programming to maintain traffic flow in the area.

CET-Rio recommends that drivers, whenever possible, use alternative routes and pay attention to the signage and instructions of traffic officers.
