CET-Rio will implement a traffic operation to facilitate the installation of a water distribution network, carried out by the concessionaire Águas do Rio, on Avenida Rodrigo Otávio, in Gávea, South Zone of the city. The interventions will begin this Saturday (08/01), from 7 am to 19 pm. The road is expected to be fully reopened to vehicle traffic on October 1st, when the works are scheduled to be completed.
For the execution of the services, it will be necessary to completely close the left lane of Avenida Rodrigo Otávio, next to the buildings with even-numbered addresses, in the section between Avenida Bartolomeu Mitre and Avenida Visconde de Albuquerque. Access for residents' vehicles to the closed section will be maintained throughout the entire construction period.
CET-Rio recommends that drivers, whenever possible, use alternative routes for their journeys, reduce their speed when driving through the area, and pay attention to the signage and instructions from traffic officers.
