  • CET-Rio implements traffic operation for Vasco and Botafogo matches at São Januário stadium.

CET-Rio will carry out a traffic operation this Sunday (February 8th) for the Vasco vs. Botafogo game at 6 PM in São Januário, for the State Championship. Traffic closures will begin at 11 AM. The operation will involve CET-Rio agents and traffic support personnel, operational vehicles, and motorcycles, all dedicated to traffic guidance. The operation will also include seven variable message signs informing drivers about closure times and alternative routes.

The operation aims to promote road safety, traffic flow, and the maintenance of clear intersections, as well as to guide drivers, pedestrians, and fans.

CET-Rio technicians at the Operations and Resilience Center (COR-Rio) will monitor all traffic movement through cameras so that, if necessary, adjustments can be made to the traffic light schedule to ensure good conditions.
