Santa Barbara Tunnel
CET-Rio informs that the Santa Bárbara Tunnel will be closed for maintenance this Thursday (December 04th), in the Santo Cristo direction, from 10 PM to 5 AM this Friday (December 05th). The tunnel in the Laranjeiras direction will operate normally.
Guidance for drivers
There will be specific signage to guide and alert drivers. CET-Rio operators will monitor traffic conditions and intervene if necessary. In addition, traffic light timings will be adjusted to improve traffic flow on the detour route and main corridors in the area.
Elevated Engineer Freyssinet and Rufino Pizarro
The Engenheiro Freyssinet Elevated Highway (overpass over Av. Paulo de Frontin) and Rufino Pizarro Elevated Highway will be closed for maintenance work, in the direction of the South Zone, from 11:30 pm this Thursday (December 4th) to 5 am on Friday (December 5th). Drivers will have the alternative route to follow Avenida Paulo de Frontin and then access the Rebouças Tunnel.
Elevation of the Flags
The lower deck of the Elevado das Bandeiras will be closed in the direction of São Conrado, from 11 PM this Thursday (December 4th) to 4:30 AM on Friday (December 5th) for maintenance. The Barra – São Conrado connection will be made via the upper deck of the Elevado das Bandeiras, which will be operating in the direction of São Conrado.
