CET-Rio has prepared a special traffic plan for the Night Run race, which will be held this Saturday (26/10) at Enseada de Botafogo and Aterro do Flamengo. In the event, runners will cover distances of 5 and 10 kilometers, and the starting line will be at 22:30 pm on the edge of Enseada de Botafogo, opposite Praça Nicarágua. The race circuit will continue until the turnaround at Aterro do Flamengo, next to the soccer fields, and then return.
Closing of Botafogo Cove and Flamengo Landfill at 22pm
To enable the assembly of the event structures, it will be necessary to close, at 22 pm, Avenida das Nações Unidas, which corresponds to the section of Enseada de Botafogo, in both directions, as well as Avenida Infante Dom Henrique, in the section corresponding to the leisure area implemented on Sundays and holidays.
Access to the Assador restaurant
This will occur by closing Avenida Repórter Nestor Moreira (next to the Shell station on Avenida Pasteur), in two lanes along Avenida Nações Unidas, dividing the Enseada de Botafogo lane, marked with fences and cones.
Access to Marina da Glória
It should be done from the access to Aterro do Flamengo, in front of Praça Luis de Camões, through the existing return at the height of the aeromodelling track to Marina da Glória. Operated on the stop and go system.
Clearance of the roads
The entire section of the closures should be released at 2 am from Saturday to Sunday.
