CET-Rio sets up traffic scheme at Maracanã for game between Fluminense and Internacional

CET-Rio will implement a special traffic operation for the game between Fluminense and Internacional, for the 2024 Brazilian Championship, at Maracanã Stadium, this Thursday (4/7). From 17:30 pm, there will be traffic restrictions in the area around the stadium.

In total, 55 traffic agents and supporters, six operational vehicles and ten motorcycles will be involved in directing traffic. In addition to 13 variable message boards with information about closure times and alternative routes. The entire group is in favor of road safety, traffic flow, keeping intersections free, as well as guiding pedestrians, fans and drivers.

CET-Rio technicians, at the Rio Operations Center (COR), will monitor all traffic movement using cameras so that, if necessary, adjustments can be made to the traffic light schedule.
