CET-Rio sets up traffic scheme for running at Aterro do Flamengo and Enseada de Botafogo

CET-Rio has set up a traffic plan for the Circuito Estações Outono race, which will be held on Sunday (10/3) at Aterro do Flamengo and Enseada de Botafogo. Runners will compete in 5 km and 10 km races. The races will start at 7 am at Aterro in front of the Monument to the Dead of the Second World War.

In order to enable the assembly of the event structures, it will be necessary to close Avenida Infante Dom Henrique, from 3 am on Saturday to Sunday, in the section corresponding to the leisure area implemented on Sundays and holidays, thus bringing its closure forward.

Avenida das Nações Unidas, which corresponds to the Enseada de Botafogo section, will be closed at 4 am, in both directions.

The section of Enseada de Botafogo should be reopened at 11 am and the section corresponding to the leisure area of ​​Aterro do Flamengo will remain closed until 19 pm, when the leisure area's opening hours end.
