CET-Rio sets up traffic plan for Botafogo x Estudiantes (ARG) game at Nilton Santos Stadium, on Wednesday (14/05)

From 18:30 pm onwards, there will be a traffic ban in the region. Art: CET-Rio CET-Rio will carry out a traffic operation this Wednesday (14/05), for the game between Botafogo and Estudiantes de La Plata (ARG) for the Copa Libertadores da América, at 21:30 pm, at the Nilton Santos stadium, in Engenho de Dentro. From 18:30 pm, there will be a traffic ban in the region.
The traffic operations team will have 35 people, including CET-Rio agents and traffic supporters, in addition to vehicles and motorcycles that will be committed to road safety, traffic flow, keeping intersections free, as well as providing guidance to pedestrians, fans and drivers.
CET-Rio technicians, at the Rio Operations Center (COR), will monitor all traffic movement using cameras so that, if necessary, adjustments can be made to the traffic light schedule with the aim of ensuring good road conditions.

– Workshops Street, between Dr. Padilha Street and Henrique Scheidt Street;
– José dos Reis Street, between Workshops Street and Bento Gonçalves Street;
– Abolition Street, between Afonso Ferreira Street and José dos Reis Street;

Diversion to access to the Yellow Line, towards Avenida Brasil
From 18:30 pm to 1:30 am the next day (15/05)
Access to the Yellow Line, in the direction of Avenida Brasil/Fundão, can be done via Rua das Oficinas, from the intersection with Rua José dos Reis, under the Jornalista Armando Nogueira viaduct.
SURROUNDING RESIDENTS
Access for vehicles belonging to residents living near the stadium will be granted upon presentation of proof of residence.
