  • CET-Rio sets up traffic plan for Bangu vs. Flamengo game at Moça Bonita.

The Rio de Janeiro Traffic Engineering Company (CET-Rio) will implement a traffic operation this Wednesday (January 14th) to facilitate the game between Bangu and Flamengo, at 9:30 PM, in Moça Bonita, for the State Championship. Traffic restrictions in the area will begin at 6:30 PM and will extend until 1:30 AM on Thursday (January 15th). There will be road closures and parking bans on three streets in the neighborhood.

The traffic plan will involve CET-Rio agents and traffic support personnel, operational vehicles, and motorcycles dedicated to traffic guidance. The operation aims to promote road safety, traffic flow, and the maintenance of clear intersections, as well as providing guidance to drivers, pedestrians, and fans.

CET-Rio technicians at the Operations and Resilience Center (COR-Rio) will monitor traffic flow using cameras. If necessary, adjustments will be made to the traffic light programming to ensure good road conditions.
