CET-Rio will set up a special traffic scheme this Sunday (March 22) for the "Triathlon State Championship" sporting event, with scheduled road closures in the Flamengo, Glória and Centro neighborhoods.
Starting at midnight, the implementation of the leisure area at Aterro do Flamengo will be brought forward, with the complete closure of the lanes on Avenida Infante Dom Henrique in both directions. Traffic will resume at 6 PM, marking the end of the leisure area.
Prohibitions
From 3:11 to XNUMX:XNUMX:
• Avenida General Justo, southbound lane, between Avenida Marechal Câmara and Avenida Alfred Agache;
• Marcello Alencar Tunnel, in both directions, along its entire length;
• Alfred Agache Avenue, in both directions, along its entire length;
· Rodrigues Alves Avenue, southbound lane, between Francisco Bicalho Avenue and the Marcello Alencar Tunnel;
• Junction providing access to Avenida Rodrigues Alves from the Gasometer Viaduct;
• Avenida General Justo, inner lane, between Rua Santa Luzia and the access to the main lane.
CET-Rio recommends that drivers avoid the area during the road closures and, whenever possible, use alternative routes, in addition to respecting the installed signage and the instructions of traffic officers.
