  • CET-Rio sets up traffic plans for shows at Maracanã and Marina da Glória

CET-Rio will conduct a special traffic operation this Saturday (10/11) for the Sorriso Maroto – Sorriso as Antigas concert, which will take place at 18 p.m. at Maracanã Stadium. From 21:30 p.m., during the audience's exit, there will be traffic closures in the area.

The operation will involve CET-Rio agents and traffic advisors, operational vehicles, and motorcycles dedicated to directing traffic. Furthermore, to reinforce traffic information, 13 variable message boards will provide information on closure times and alternative routes. The entire system is designed to promote road safety, smooth traffic flow, and maintain free intersections, as well as to guide pedestrians, fans, and drivers.

CET-Rio technicians at the Operations and Resilience Center (COR-Rio) will monitor all traffic movement through cameras so that, if necessary, adjustments can be made to the traffic light schedule to ensure good road conditions.
