CET-Rio will implement a special traffic operation for the traditional São Sebastião Race, on Tuesday (January 20th), at Aterro do Flamengo and Enseada de Botafogo. The 5k and 10k races will start at 7 am, at Aterro, in front of the Monument to the Dead of the Second World War.
To facilitate the setup of the event structures, Avenida Infante Dom Henrique will be closed from midnight on Tuesday, in the section of the leisure area that is implemented on Sundays and holidays, with the closure being brought forward. Avenida das Nações Unidas, in Enseada de Botafogo, will be closed at 4 am, in both directions.
The section of Botafogo Cove should be reopened at 11 am, while the section of the Flamengo Park leisure area will remain closed until 18 pm, when its operating hours end.
