CET-Rio will implement a traffic operation for the Feira das Yabás event, this Sunday (May 10th), in the Oswaldo Cruz neighborhood, in the city's North Zone. To facilitate the event, there will be traffic closures starting at midnight, in the area of Praça Paulo da Portela, in the section between Rua Guarapari and Rua Maria Teixeira. The roads will be reopened to traffic at 10 PM.
Teams from CET-Rio and the Municipal Guard (GM-Rio) will be working to guide drivers and pedestrians, as well as carrying out necessary road closures throughout the event.
Technicians from CET-Rio, at the Operations and Resilience Center (COR-Rio), will monitor all traffic movement through cameras. If necessary, adjustments will be made to the traffic light programming, with the aim of maintaining good traffic flow in the area.
CET-Rio recommends the preferential use of public transportation, as there will be no parking available for the event. Drivers should use alternative routes and, if possible, anticipate their travel times. Pedestrians should cross the street at safe and marked locations. It is also important that everyone follows the instructions of traffic officers and the signage in the area.

• Clara Nunes Street, in the section between Estrada do Portela and Júlio Fragoso Street;
• Manacéa Street;
• Ernesto Lobão Street, in the section between Estrada do Portela and Antônio Badajós Street;
• Rua Sérgio de Oliveira, in the section between Estrada do Portela and Rua Antônio Badajós;
• Joaquim Teixeira Street, in the section between Estrada do Portela and Maria Teixeira Street;
• Pirapora Street, in the section between Estrada do Portela and General Rocha Maia Street;
• Perdigão Malheiros Street;
• Rua Manuel Marques, in the section between Estrada do Portela and Rua Antônio de Abreu.
Deviations
• Vehicles coming from Rua Guarapari, heading towards Estrada do Portela, in the direction of Avenida dos Italianos, should follow Estrada do Portela, Rua Firmino Fragoso, Rua Carolina Machado, Rua Átila Silveira, Rua Frei Bento, Rua Rio das Pedras, Praça Armando Fajardo, returning to Estrada do Portela.
• Vehicles coming from Estrada do Portela, heading towards Rua Carolina Machado, in the direction of Cascadura, should follow Rua Maria Teixeira, Rua Taubaté, Rua Frei Bento and Rua Carolina Machado.
