REBOUÇAS TUNNEL

CET-Rio informs that the galleries of the Rebouças Tunnel, towards the city center, will be closed this Tuesday (November 4th), from 11:30 pm to 5 am the following day (November 5th), for maintenance work.

The galleries in the opposite direction will operate with a reversible lane, on the left, heading towards the city center. The other two lanes will be heading towards Lagoa.

VICE-PRESIDENT JOSÉ ALENCAR TUNNEL

The Vice President José Alencar Tunnel will be closed this Tuesday (November 4th), from 11:30 PM to 4:00 AM the following day (November 5th), for maintenance work.

Vehicles in the blocked direction will be diverted via Serra da Grota Funda (Av. Artur Xexéo).

BRT buses heading to Santa Cruz will travel along the opposite gallery lane. Buses originally traveling along the lane heading to Barra da Tijuca will follow the lane common to all vehicles.

ELEVATED PRESIDENT ITAMAR FRANCO

The Luiz Jacques de Moraes Tunnel, the Presidente Itamar Franco Elevated Highway, and the Eng. Paulo César Marcellino Figueiredo Tunnel will be closed this Tuesday (November 4th) from 11:30 PM to 4:30 AM the following day (November 5th) for routine maintenance.

The alternative for drivers will be to follow the upper deck of the Elevado das Bandeiras, which will operate in the direction of Barra da Tijuca.

At all scheduled closures – Specific signage will be installed to guide and alert drivers, and CET-Rio operators will monitor traffic conditions and take action if necessary. In addition, traffic light times will be adjusted to ensure fluidity on detour routes and on the main corridors in the regions.

The program may be suspended at any time due to weather conditions or operational issues in the city.
