  • CET-Rio implements traffic operation for the Vasco vs. Palmeiras game at São Januário.

CET-Rio has set up a traffic plan for the Vasco vs. Palmeiras game this Thursday (March 12th) at 7:30 PM in São Januário, for the Brazilian Championship. Traffic closures will begin at 1:30 PM. The operation will involve CET-Rio agents and support staff, operational vehicles, and motorcycles, all dedicated to guiding drivers and pedestrians. Seven variable message signs will provide information about closure times and alternative routes.

CET-Rio technicians at the Operations and Resilience Center (COR-Rio) will monitor all traffic movement through cameras so that, if necessary, adjustments can be made to the traffic light schedule to ensure good conditions.
