Published on 31/01/2026 - 18:11 | Updated
Traffic restrictions will begin at 14 PM on Monday. The Rio de Janeiro Traffic Engineering Company (CET-Rio) will carry out a traffic operation this Monday (02/02), for the game between Madureira and Vasco, for the Campeonato Carioca, at 20 pm, at the São Januário stadium, in the Vasco da Gama neighborhood. Traffic restrictions will begin at 14 pm.
The plan will involve CET-Rio agents and traffic support personnel, operational vehicles, and motorcycles, all dedicated to traffic guidance. The operation will also include seven variable message signs providing information on closure times and alternative routes.
The operation aims to promote road safety, traffic flow, and the maintenance of clear intersections, as well as to guide drivers, pedestrians, and fans.
CET-Rio technicians, at the Operations and Resilience Center (COR-Rio), will monitor all traffic movement through cameras so that, if necessary, adjustments can be made to the traffic light schedule to ensure good conditions.
