The Bandeiras elevated highway and tunnels will be closed for maintenance this Monday.

The Santa Bárbara Tunnel will be closed in the Laranjeiras direction from 11:30 PM this Monday (March 6nd) to 4:30 AM on Tuesday (March 4rd) for maintenance work. The tunnel in the Santo Cristo direction will operate normally.

The Rebouças Tunnel will be closed in the direction of the city center, from 11 pm this Monday (March 6nd) to 5 am on Tuesday (March 4rd), for maintenance work. The tunnels in the opposite direction will operate with one reversible lane (left) towards the city center and two traffic lanes towards Lagoa.

The Zuzu Angel and Acústico Rafael Mascarenhas tunnels will be closed in the direction of Gávea, from 11 pm this Monday (March 6th) to 5 am on Tuesday (March 7th), for maintenance work. The main alternative route is Avenida Niemeyer.

The lower deck of the Elevado das Bandeiras will be closed in the direction of São Conrado, from 11 pm this Monday (March 6th) to 4:30 am on Tuesday (March 7th) for maintenance. The Barra da Tijuca-São Conrado connection will be made via the upper deck. CET-Rio agents will be on site to guide drivers.

Specific signage will be installed to guide and alert drivers. CET-Rio operators will monitor traffic conditions and intervene if necessary. In addition, traffic light timings will be adjusted to improve traffic flow on the detour route and main corridors in the affected areas.
