São Januário Stadium - Fabio Motta/City of Rio

CET-Rio has set up a traffic plan for the game between Vasco and Internacional, this Friday (November 28th), at 7:30 pm, in São Januário, for the Brazilian Championship. Traffic closures will begin at 12:30 pm on Rua Francisco Palheta, between Rua São Januário and Rua Ricardo Machado; Avenida Roberto Dinamite, between Rua Ricardo Machado and Rua Dom Carlos; and on Rua Ferreira de Araújo, between Rua Dulce Rosalina and Avenida Roberto Dinamite.

Starting at 3:30 PM, other streets surrounding the stadium will be closed according to the operational plan. Teixeira Júnior Street, between Roberto Dinamite Avenue and São Januário Street, will have its direction reversed and will operate from São Januário Street towards Roberto Dinamite Avenue. Bonfim Street, between Senador Alencar Street and Bela Street, will operate in both directions from 7 PM to 10:30 PM. Parking will be prohibited from 10:30 PM this Thursday (November 27th).

The operation will involve CET-Rio agents and traffic support personnel, operational vehicles, and motorcycles dedicated to traffic guidance. Variable message signs will provide information about closure times and alternative routes.

CET-Rio technicians working at the Operations and Resilience Center (COR-Rio) will monitor all traffic movement through cameras so that, if necessary, adjustments can be made to the traffic light programming in order to ensure good road conditions.
