Special traffic plan for the game in São Januário starts this Wednesday

The special traffic plan that CET-Rio has prepared for the match between Vasco and Cuiabá, for the Brazilian Championship, at the São Januário Stadium, in the Vasco da Gama neighborhood, in the North Zone, will start operating this Wednesday (23/10). The game is scheduled for 19 pm on Thursday (24/10). However, parking around the stadium will be prohibited from starting at 22 pm this Wednesday.

From noon on Thursday, there will be traffic closures in the area. CET-Rio will have 30 traffic agents and supporters, 4 operational vehicles, 10 motorcycles and 7 variable message boards that will inform about the closure times and alternative routes. Personnel and equipment will be focused on guiding fans, pedestrians and drivers.

CET-Rio technicians at the Rio Operations Center (COR) will monitor all traffic movements using cameras. If necessary, adjustments will be made to the traffic light schedule to ensure smooth traffic flow.

From 22pm on Wednesday (23/10) to 22pm on Thursday (24/10)

– Avenida Roberto Dinamite, between Rua Ricardo Machado and Rua Dom Carlos, on both sides, including the side lane leading to the parking lot.
