Closure of the Vice President José de Alencar Tunnel

The Rio City Hall, through CET Rio, will execute tomorrow, September 10th, the total closure of the Vice Presidente José de Alencar Tunnel, towards Recreio, from 09 pm to 23 am.

The closure aims to enable routine maintenance and conservation services for the drainage galleries and cleaning of the Tunnel walls.

Vehicles traveling along Av. Dom João VI heading to Barra must follow Av. das Américas, Serra da Grota Funda, Av. das Américas, Rua dos Servidores, access ramp to Av. das Américas, heading towards Barra.

CET Rio teams will work on both the blockades and the diversion route, guiding road users.
