From 15:30 pm onwards, there will be traffic bans in the stadium area. Art: Disclosure/CET-Rio CET-Rio will conduct a traffic operation this Saturday (19/04) for the match between Flamengo and Vasco for the Brazilian Championship, at 18:30 pm, at the Maracanã stadium. And, in addition to the regulated areas with parking bans, other roads will be restricted to parking from 10 am on the date of the football match.
CET-Rio will have 50 traffic agents and support staff, 05 operational vehicles and 12 motorcycles who will be involved in directing traffic. In addition, to reinforce traffic information, 13 variable message panels will inform about the times of closures and alternative routes. The entire group will work to ensure road safety, smooth traffic flow, keep intersections free, and provide guidance to pedestrians, fans and drivers.
CET-Rio technicians, at the Rio Operations Center (COR), will monitor all traffic movement using cameras so that, if necessary, adjustments can be made to the traffic light schedule with the aim of ensuring good road conditions.
