Closures on BRT Transbrasil from Thursday (08/10)

The City of Rio, through CET-Rio, informs that starting Thursday (October 08th) Av. Brasil will be closed to facilitate Transbrasil services. No impact on traffic is expected, as the interventions will take place during the night.

Thursday (08/10) – Ramos Heights

· From 22 pm to 4 am the following day: Close Av. Brasil, Central lane, towards the Center, between Walkways 15 and 10. Vehicles will be diverted to the side lane at Walkway 15 and will be able to return after Walkway 10.

· From 1am to 3am: for 10 minutes, traffic on Av. Brasil, Central lane, towards Deodoro, between Walkways 9 and 14, will be completely interrupted.

Between Thursday (8/10) and Saturday (17/10) – Altura do Caju

· From 22pm to 4am the following day: Block access to the Caju Viaduct, at the height of Rua Franco de Almeida. Vehicles must follow Av. Brasil, towards Rodoviária;

· From 22pm to 4am the following day: Block access from Rua Conde de Leopoldina to the central lane (rigid pavement) of Av. Brasil, towards Rodoviária. Vehicles must follow the side lane until the next access point to the central lane;

· From 22:4 p.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX a.m. the following day: Block access from the Rio-Niterói Bridge to the central lane (rigid pavement) of Av. Brasil, towards Rodoviária. Vehicles must follow the side lane of Av. Brasil, next to INTO, until the next access point to the central lane.

The interventions will involve the participation of traffic operators, including CET-Rio agents and outsourced workers, who will work to maintain traffic flow, set up roadblocks and guide drivers during the operations. Specific signage will be installed to guide and alert drivers and pedestrians.
