Closures in the Acústico Rafael Mascarenhas and Zuzu Angel tunnels have new opening hours

CET-Rio informs that as of this Monday (06/09) the night-time closures of the Acústico Rafael Mascarenhas and Zuzu Angel tunnels, towards São Conrado, will occur from 23:50 pm to 4:30 am. The change was necessary to minimize traffic disruptions, especially on the detour route via Avenida Niemeyer.

The closures take place from Sunday to Thursday, for public lighting revitalization services by Rioluz, through the Smart Luz consortium.

The main detour is Avenida Niemeyer, which operates in a “stop and go” operation at number 226.
