Published on 04/09/2020 - 13:50 | UpdatedThe City of Rio, through CET-Rio, informs that between September 08th (Tuesday) and September 09th (Friday), from 11 pm to 09 am the following day, the operation to remove the scaffolding positioned under the Oswaldo Cruz Bridge will continue. To make LAMSA's procedure viable, it will be necessary to close:
· 2 lanes (right side) of the Red Line, towards the Center, under the Oswaldo Cruz bridge;
· 2 lanes (right side) of the Red Line, heading towards Baixada, under the Oswaldo Cruz bridge.
The diversion will be carried out on the road itself, in the narrow section. No impact on traffic is expected, as the operations will take place at night.
The closures will involve the participation of traffic operators, including agents from CET-Rio and LAMSA, who will work to maintain fluidity, carry out the blockade and guide drivers during the procedure. Specific signage will be installed to guide and alert drivers.
