Partial closures on BRT Transbrasil starting this Thursday (03/09)

The City of Rio, through CET-Rio, informs that starting Thursday (03/08) Av. Brasil will be partially closed to facilitate Transbrasil services. No impact on traffic is expected, as the interventions will occur in the direction of the road with less traffic.

· Between Thursday (03/09) and Wednesday (09/09), from 7am to 16pm: closure of 1 lane (right side) of the central lane of Av. Brasil, towards Deodoro, at the height of Passarela 3;

· Friday (04/09), from 11am to 18pm: closure of 1 lane (right side) of the side road of Av. Brasil, towards Rodoviária, at the height of Rua Santos Lima.

The diversions will be carried out on the track itself, in the narrow section.

The interventions will involve the participation of traffic operators, including CET-Rio agents and outsourced workers, who will work to maintain traffic flow, set up roadblocks and guide drivers during the operations. Specific signage will be installed to guide and alert drivers and pedestrians.
