RISING OF THE FLAGS

CET-Rio informs that the lower deck of the Elevado das Bandeiras will be closed on Thursday (November 6th), from 11 PM to 4:30 AM the following day (November 7th), in the direction of São Conrado, for maintenance.

The Barra – São Conrado connection will be made via the Upper Deck track of the Elevado das Bandeiras, which will be operating in the direction of São Conrado.

VICE-PRESIDENT JOSÉ ALENCAR TUNNEL

The Vice President José Alencar Tunnel will be closed on Thursday (November 6th), from 11 PM to 4:30 AM the following day (November 7th), for maintenance work.

Vehicles in the blocked direction will be diverted via Serra da Grota Funda (Av. Artur Xexéo).

BRT buses heading towards Barra will travel along the opposite gallery lane. Buses originally traveling along the lane towards Santa Cruz will travel along the lane common to all vehicles.

SANTA BARBARA TUNNEL

CET-Rio informs that the Santa Bárbara Tunnel will be closed on Thursday (November 6th), from 11 PM to 5 AM the following day (November 7th), in the SANTO CRISTO DIRECTION, for structural repairs carried out by Seconserva.

The gallery towards Laranjeiras will operate normally.

At all scheduled closures – Specific signage will be installed to guide and alert drivers, and CET-Rio operators will monitor traffic conditions and take action if necessary. In addition, traffic light times will be adjusted to ensure fluidity on detour routes and on the main corridors in the regions.

The program may be suspended at any time due to weather conditions or operational issues in the city.
