  • Maracanã will have a traffic plan in place for the match between Fluminense and Rivadavia.

CET-Rio will implement a special traffic operation this Wednesday (April 15th), from 6:30 PM to 1:30 AM on Thursday (April 16th), for the match between Fluminense and Independiente Rivadavia (ARG) for the Conmebol Libertadores. The match will be held at 9:30 PM at the Maracanã Stadium. In addition to existing restrictions, other roads will have parking restrictions starting at 10 AM.

The traffic plan will involve CET-Rio agents and traffic support personnel, operational vehicles, and motorcycles, who will assist drivers. The operation will also include 13 variable message signs that will provide information about closure times and alternative routes.

The operation aims to promote road safety, traffic flow, and the maintenance of clear intersections, as well as to guide pedestrians and fans.

CET-Rio technicians at the Operations and Resilience Center (COR) will monitor all traffic using cameras so that, if necessary, adjustments can be made to the traffic light programming in order to ensure good road conditions.
